Perfect Golf Swing

The perfect golf swing relates to how one swings the golf club while playing golf and it has a lot of implications in its aftermath. No wonder, many people who play golf want to improve on their posture prior to hitting the ball.

It is general knowledge that what constitutes the right posture to one person might be different from another.

However, it is easy to predict the outcome of a shot from the positions of the club head, the orientation of the club face, and how to rotate our hips after hitting the ball. A Perfect golf swing comes with training and practice.

  • High levels of shot accuracy.
  • High levels of consistent shot outcome.
  • Good ability to generate shot distance.
  • Adaptability of the ball’s flight trajectory.
  • Keep us free from injury.
  • Stress

Just found an amazing golf swing discovery…

I came across a website that has a unique golf swing test. This golf swing test was created to see if us golfers have a single swing fault that is stopping us from hitting the ball further, straighter and more consistently.

Apparently, if you have this one swing fault it could be costing us up to 50 yards in distance.

    Ouch!

Anyway, I’ve taken the golf swing test and it was very enlightening. You can do the same by going here.

To obtain a correct swing, you should:

    Lower Your Hands

The height of a shot can be reduced by lowering the follow-through height. Keeping your hands low lowers the level in which the ball flies. You can also lower the level in which the ball flies by using a heavier club or swinging without restraining your body, though the two are not as reliable as is keeping your hands low.

    Maintain the Right Posture

Ensure to be at the top of the wave from the force during striking to increase your accuracy. Your right hand should be lying perpendicularly to your spine while your left lower arm should be flat with your arms and elbows making a triangle.

Swing the Body for More Power

When playing golf, you rely on the whole of your body to power the club and not the arms alone. To get an outstanding swing, place the club in front of you and ensure your stability. It is easier to hit the ball in the air when you exert all your energy from the whole body compared to when you rely on your hands for power.
