Golf Tips For The Beginner

Golf tips for the beginner.

Playing golf can prove to be a complicated thing for beginners.  There are rules to be followed, technical terms, and strict body positions for the perfect shot. You can easily shy off besides the amount of pleasure that comes with the sport. Not again. Read through the following golf tips for beginners and you will be ready to interact with the pros without having to feel intimidated.  Click Here for more golf tips for beginners.

Getting a Proper Grip

It takes practice and consistency to become a pro at playing golf. You got to know how to grip the club before you can swing and hit the ball. Hold the club using your active hand at the level of your eyes in front of you. Using the other hand, close your fingers around the top of the club. Test whether your grip is right by putting your arms by your side and drop the club, you will be right if it falls bottom-up.

Putting

Here, you learn how to make the ball fall into the hole. Your shoulders must be at the same level to avoid swing-low swing-high in the ball. Your shoulders should be kept square and be in alignment with your forearm. Maintaining this position will help you make a putt.

Chipping

Here, you learn how to make that best shot on the ball. You should remember that your put is as good as the chip. To avoid missing the ball and losing your score, use a wedge to lift the ball from the grass. Position yourself to get the best shot and then make the hit. The ball will rise in the air, land, and roll to towards the flagstick and you will have scored.

Iron Play

To increase your chances of making a shot that will land closest to the flagstick, you should strive to hit the ball at its bottom. Place the ball on the stance in front of you and let your front foot bear about 60 %of your weight.

Maintain the distribution of your weight while swinging back the club to help you make solid contact with the ground. Strike the ball from the bottom and watch it soar in the sky. Yes, I want more golf tips!
